Our first steps on the market

Our history begins back in 2004, when the first office was opened in Tamale, Ghana, by Iddrisu Yakubu Iddi. The founder of the company, himself a banker and businessman from Ghana, was instrumental in turning his Company towards international expansion from the very start. We owe more than our name, our logo and our first product to our founder. He embodied many of the key attitudes and values that form part and parcel of our corporate culture: pragmatism, flexibility, the willingness to learn, an open mind and respect for other people and cultures.

Continuous innovation and transformation

Continuous innovation and rapid transformation have been themes throughout our history, which the company traces to 2001 with the installation of the first business center and computer system lab for commercial use in Ghana. The company has built its solid reputation thanks to thorough employees selection. By the year 2004, the company began offering a new breed of solutions to clients - solutions that aligned organizations' technologies, products, processes and people with their strategies.

Further development

Throughout Balindura's history, the company has expanded its offerings and capitalized on evolving management trends and technologies to benefit its clients. The company pioneered systems integration and business integration; led the deployment of enterprise resource planning, customer relationship management and electronic services; and has established itself as a leader in today's global marketplace. Combining unparalleled experience, comprehensive capabilities across all industries and business functions, and extensive research on the world’s most successful companies, we collaborate with clients to help them in each and every requirement.

Company decoupling and rebirth

In 2009 Balindura underwent a series of top management changes and decoupled into six different entities to bring much more efficiency and continue to provide world class products and services to our ever increasing global clients. At the time of the decoupling, Balindura employed 100 staff and generated appreciable amount of annual revenues. The aim of the CEO and management was to bring in more talents and experts into the created fields to offer high quality  services and products. The new main sections were to focus on Software Engineering, Networking solutions, fashion design & production, graphic design & branding and architectural designing. Our partnership with other global giants in the manufacturing and service providing industry has further cemented our position as a key player.

Where our solutions come from

Our solutions and services were formed during a groundbreaking merger in 2011 which saw Balindura partner with other global giants from countries such as Germany,Austria, India,Switzerland and China united under the agreement of sharing knowledge, staff exchange and retraining programs, continuous industry assessment and providing world class services and products to our various clients. Made up of six business units, company solutions and outsourcing services, Balindura provides strong business technology as well as an extensive range of services and solutions. We continue to evaluate our performance and aim to deliver beyond the expectations of our clients.

The new era of Balindura

On January 30, 2012, shareholders were asked by the Board of Directors to decide on the status transformation of Balindura, the company aimed to spread it wings to over 20 countries in Africa and beyond. Following the decoupling of Balindura on November 25, 2009, Balindura has become a leader in rendering the specific services. 85 percent of our turnover and 75 percent of our workforce is now spread equally across the country. We continue to absorb graduates and a lot of young people into our company with the aim of bringing in more talents and innovative ideas to develop new products. As always, our clients are the prime focus.
